September 14, 1-3pm
Jackson, Wyoming
Press release

Trailside Galleries is pleased to announce that on Friday, September 14th from 1-3 pm mountain time, wildlife artist Guy Combes will be in attendance at the gallery conducing a live painting demonstration. During that time, he will attempt to complete an oil study based on a sketch that he will be working from.

The session will be streamed live on Facebook from his timeline and a silent auction will run both in the comment thread of the feed and on a sheet provided by the gallery.  This will enable bidding from the audience in the room as well as online.  Bidding will start at $100 and in minimum $50 increments.

All proceeds will go to grizzly conservation and protection.  Ann Smith, who has raised over $80,000 for Earthjustice.com is going to determine where the funds are allocated and will be there to talk about it while Combs is painting.

Combes recently raised over $8000 with a quickdraw at the Artists for Conservation festival.  The highest bid was $3000 and two other bidders decided to donate to the cause as well.

The winning bidder will be required to pay the funds direct to the cause and Combes will arrange for the delivery of the finished oil study to the winning bidder.
