Our Scottsdale gallery is pleased to present its annual “Deck the Walls - Holiday Miniature Show”, featuring a month long exhibition of all new small works by the gallery artists. This select group of paintings and sculpture will feature a variety of subjects including western, landscape, wildlife, impressionism, still-life and figurative works. The gallery will host the annual festive holiday reception on Thursday, December 5th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. All paintings will be sold by draw.
Throughout the month of December, a large area of the gallery floor will be devoted to highlighting these small jewels by many of the country’s most renowned artists. Among the artists participating are: Cyrus Afsary, Jeremy Browne, Bruce Cheever, Patricia Dobson, Donny Finley, Logan Maxwell Hagege, Z.S. Liang, Dan and Danny McCaw, Joann Peralta, Cynthia Rigden, Sueellen Ross, Mian Situ, Matt Smith, Curt Walters, Morgan Weistling, William Whitaker, and Jie-Wei Zhou.
Our Jackson, Wyoming gallery is pleased to host “All Creatures Great and Small” a special show of small works which will focus specifically on wildlife art. Our Jackson location provides the perfect setting to host this wonderful event. With its close proximity to Teton National Park and Yellowstone, the area is virtual mecca for wildlife enthusiasts including photographers, nature buffs and wildlife artists! Even in the depths of winter, Nature provides almost an ethereal and mystical beauty to the area at this time of year. Join us for a cup of good cheer during our artist reception on December 14 and view the small winter gems created by many of the top wildlife artists in the country.
Trailside Galleries in Scottsdale, AZ is pleased to host a special event featuring 12 acclaimed artists whose works on the Grand Canyon appear in a brand new book publication titled Art Of The National Parks. This magnificent coffee table size volume offers distinctive artist’s interpretations of eight of the country’s most beloved national parks. Our show will focus on the artists who have played a significant role in interpreting the iconic landscapes of Grand Canyon National Park
The artists participating are Bruce Aiken, Elizabeth Black, Arturo Chavez, Linda Glover Gooch, Matthew Higginbotham, Peter Holbrook, Tom Murray, Peter Nisbet, William Scott Jennings, Merrill Mahaffey, Dave Santillanes and Curt Walters.
Each artist will have 3-4 works available, including some of the original paintings featured in the book. Most of the artists will be in attendance at the artist reception to meet will collectors. It is also anticipated that well known author and curator, Susan Hallsten McGarry, who wrote the essays and artist profiles, will be on hand to sign copies of the book. In the book, McGarry guides readers on a lively journey through the artists’ styles, techniques and philosophies.
Reception will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 1pm to 4pm.

Liang's penchant for detail combined with the historical and narrative elements of his paintings have firmly established him among the ranks of the finest western representational painters in the country today. In each painting, whether a complex subject matter with multiple figures or a simple, elegant portrait, his meticulous research and dedication is clearly evident,imbuing his work with passion and authenticity. All works will be sold by draw on Saturday, November 9 at 3:00 pm MST.
Our Scottsdale gallery is pleased to present its annual Fall Classics Exhibition and Sale, featuring all new works by the gallery’s outstanding roster of artists. A reception is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 at which time collectors will have the opportunity to meet many of the artists participating in the event.
The show will still have a strong emphasis on western imagery but will also have important works with subjects ranging from wildlife, impressionistic works, sporting art, landscapes and figurative pieces
The gallery will follow a similar schedule of events as it has in past years beginning with an art walk on Thursday evening, November 7 from 6:00 -8:00 in the evening, an all day viewing of the artwork on Friday, November 9, and a major artists’ reception at the gallery on Saturday, November 9 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
