Trailside Galleries is pleased to present watercolorist Ian Ramsay in a showcase of all new works. Born in Farnborough, Kent, England, Ramsay spent his early years in Britain and Canada, and eventually settled in the United States. He received a degree in architecture at the University of Utah and is a licensed architect. In 1979 Ian left architecture to become a full time watercolor artist. Since that time he has traveled and painted extensively. His work has been exhibited all over the US, Japan and Britain. Ian Ramsay has participated in many juried, invitational and one man shows throughout the U.S. and Japan. He has also been an instructor at the Salt Lake Art Center and has done numerous demonstrations and painting workshops The new collection of work by Ian Ramsay will include Northwest Coastal scenes English village and pastoral scenes as well as Utah farm settings.
